Ceramic Catfish Vase, 2017

This is a ceramic vase I made using a variety of techniques. I started with a simple vase using a pottery wheel. I then rolled several coils to attach to the vase to give it an abstracted design. I then rolled some clay and cut out a leaf shaped slab that I then carved to add extra details before starting the firing and glazing process.
